- Jonathan Patrick Chandler and I were married for 21 years 4 months. He is the absolute love of my life. Could not and would not imagine life without him. We spent 16 years of our life traveling from Louisiana, to Georgia (Meg was born there) to Germany, to Alaska, to Virginia, then to Tennessee and now Alabama. Jon retired from the Army on 1 April 2005 and then we moved here in May 2005. I work on Redstone Arsenal Army Installation as a Division Secretary. Jon was the Manager of a Training Department for a Private Company just outside of Post, but on 27 April will start a new job at a new company, doing totally different work. Will fill in that blank when we find out what he'll be doing:).. Megan is a freshmon in college and also works on post as an Engineering aide. We are very proud of her and know she will do great things in her life. (1st women President she COULD be) We lost our Alobar (Yellow Lab) after 12 years. We miss him terribly but have grown to love our kitten Ruby. She has been ours since Dec 2008.
